Tricia Hallberg
Tricia Hallberg is the coordinator of early childhood programs. Tricia and her family moved to Annapolis over 6 years ago when her husband was stationed at the Naval Academy. After retiring, her husband remained as an aeronautical engineering professor at the Academy. They brought with them their four children, Nicole (19), Katie (18), Eric (16), and Patty (15). They added two dachshunds to their family since they have been here. Tricia brings with her 22 years experience in the education field. Getting her Bachelor’s degree in Education at Virginia Tech has lead Tricia to years of teaching in both the public and private sectors. She has continued her education and has her certification both in elementary and early childhood education in many states including most recently Maryland. She sat on many school based site committees and worked closely with curriculum development and adoptions for several state programs. In addition, Tricia has written and taught curriculum for Pre-K and Kindergarten classes. The military experience has sent Tricia all over the United States with her family. While in California, she began and successfully ran a home based business with over 100 employees. She has also started up and led many Girl Scout troops over the years. When not in the classroom, Tricia has kept up her skills through a private tutoring business.
