Miriam Luby Wolfe Scholarship AwardApplications Due November 3, 2017
The Miriam Luby Wolfe Scholarship Award is given annually to a young person of Temple Beth Shalom, who demonstrates high academic achievement as well as achievement in the arts or other endeavors. Miriam Luby Wolfe made an enormous impact on the world for someone so young. She was an extraordinary young woman who, in her 20 years, touched and influenced the lives of everyone she knew. Her Jewish commitment increased during her years as a student at Syracuse University studying musical theater. Miriam was tragically killed in the 1988 terrorist bombing of Pan Am flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland. Her family established the award in Miriam’s honor.
