At Temple Beth Shalom, we are a growing and vibrant Reform congregation where warmth, creativity, and tradition come together to create a meaningful and welcoming Jewish community. With approximately 400 member households representing more than 1,400 individuals, our congregation includes families, couples, singles, children, teens, and seniors from Annapolis, Anne Arundel County, and surrounding communities.
As the largest synagogue in the county, Temple Beth Shalom serves as a hub for Jewish worship, lifelong learning, social action, and community connection. We pride ourselves on creating an inclusive environment where members quickly feel at home and are encouraged to become active participants in temple life.
Temple Beth Shalom is also home to two thriving educational programs. Our Religious School serves more than 120 students from kindergarten through 12th grade, offering engaging Jewish learning on Sundays and weekday evenings depending on grade level.
For our youngest learners, the Sylvia Meisenberg Early Childhood Program provides a high-quality preschool experience for children ages 2–5 in a warm, nurturing, and play-based environment that helps build a lifelong love of learning.
