Community

Temple Beth Shalom has a tight-knit community of volunteers who organize a vast array of programs for our congregation. These community groups add texture to temple life, enhancing our worship and learning through friendship, fun and service. We welcome every member of our congregation to participate in one of our community organizations. Volunteer Your Time

Temple Beth Shalom thrives, in large part, because of our dedicated community of volunteers. They are the lifeblood of our synagogue. However, we believe that service to our community cultivates our volunteers as much as our temple. Volunteers have the opportunity to make lasting friendships and hone skills, while also performing a mitzvah by improving temple life for our whole community.

We sincerely hope you will get involved at the temple in any number of ways. There are opportunities for every member and his or her individual skill set and schedule: one-time building projects, advisory committees to join, and major campaigns that you can undertake over longer periods of time. Our community needs your talent!

Our volunteer coordinators work to connect volunteers with temple needs in a way that is mutually rewarding. If you would like to volunteer, please contact the temple office at 410-757-0552.
