High Holy Days

Members receive High Holy Day e-tickets as part of their Temple Beth Shalom membership. Non-members can purchase tickets online. Join our community for the High Holy Days as we gather in reflection, prayer, music, and connection. From the joyful sounds of Rosh HaShanah to the meaningful introspection of Yom Kippur, the High Holy Days offer an opportunity to reconnect with tradition, community, and one another. Through inspiring services, beautiful music, and engaging experiences for all ages, we welcome members, families, guests, and those exploring Jewish life to share this sacred season with us. Whether you attend every year or are joining us for the first time, you will find a warm and welcoming community ready to celebrate together.

Sukkot

Our synagogue Sukkah is a regular gathering place for all the people of our congregation.  Each year either the temple or the Sisterhood plans an event for Sukkot.  Join us as we celebrate Sukkot. Sukkot is a time of gathering and connection as we celebrate the harvest season. Throughout the holiday, we come together in our sukkah for worship, learning, music, food, and community celebrations for all ages.  Whether you are shaking the lulav and etrog for the first time or reconnecting with friends and family, Sukkot offers a meaningful opportunity to celebrate the joy of Jewish community together.

Simchat Torah

Join us as we dance with the Torah scrolls around our building as we celebrate our connection with our tradition and our people. Join the Temple Beth Shalom as we celebrate the joy and excitement of Simchat Torah. Simchat Torah marks the completion of the annual Torah reading cycle and the beginning of a new one. It is a celebration filled with music, dancing, singing, and community as we honor the gift of Torah together. Come celebrate with us. Whether you are a lifelong participant or experiencing Simchat Torah for the first time, we invite you to share in this spirited and meaningful celebration.

Hanukkah

Bring your own Hanukkah Menorah to a Shabbat service that falls during Hanukkah and add it to the many others so that our light shines bright as a reminder of the heroic deeds of the Maccabees.  Join the Temple Beth Shalom community as we celebrate the warmth, joy, and light of Hanukkah together.

Throughout the festival of lights, we gather as a community to celebrate the miracle of Hanukkah with music, blessings, laughter, and the lighting of the menorah. Each year, our celebration may include special programs, festive activities, and community gatherings — and we always come together for at least one evening to light candles as a congregation.

Whether enjoying latkes and sufganiyot, singing Hanukkah songs, or sharing the glow of the candles with family and friends, Hanukkah is a time to celebrate tradition, resilience, and the strength of community.

Purim

Come in costume and join the fun at the many Purim celebrations at Temple Beth Shalom.

Whether it is our lively carnival, spirited Megillah reading, hilarious skits, festive music, or interactive storytelling, Purim is always a wild, joyful, and unforgettable celebration at our synagogue. Filled with laughter, noise, costumes, and community spirit, Purim reminds us to celebrate courage, resilience, and Jewish joy together. Children, teens, adults, families, and friends of all ages are invited to join in the festivities. Don’t forget your groggers — and be ready to boo Haman loudly!

Pesach

Celebrate the story of freedom, tradition, and togetherness at Temple Beth Sholom’s Community Passover Seder. Whether you grew up attending seders every year or are experiencing one for the very first time, all are welcome to join us for this meaningful and festive evening.  Look on the temple calendar for the date.

Together, we will retell the story of the Exodus, enjoy traditional Passover foods, sing songs, and share in the joy of community. Our seder is designed to be engaging, welcoming, and family-friendly for all ages.

Come celebrate with old friends, meet new ones, and experience the warmth of Passover. together.
